School Speech Language Pathologist - Remote Job
Job Description: Vocovision is in search of a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work full-time with K-12 students for a school district in North Carolina. This is a remote position that allows you to provide speech and language services to students from the comfort of your own home. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic and social goals.
Employment Type: Remote, full-time position for the duration of the school year, 1099 Contract
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid North Carolina state license as an SLP
- ASHA CCCs
- Two years of experience working with school-aged children in a clinical or educational setting
- Familiarity with telepractice and the use of technology for virtual therapy sessions (preferred)
- Ability to work independently, manage caseload, and meet deadlines
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology setup for telepractice sessions
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities
- Provide virtual therapy sessions, utilizing telepractice technology, to deliver speech and language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development
- Monitor progress, document sessions, and maintain accurate records of student performance
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and strategies
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
