School Speech Language Pathologist - Remote

Vocovision is in search of a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to start immediately and work full-time with K-12 students for a school district in New York. This is a remote position that allows you to provide speech and language services to students from the comfort of your own home.

Employment Type: Remote, full-time position for the duration of the school year, 1099 Contract

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• New York state license as an SLP
• New York Teaching Certification
• ASHA CCCs
• Two years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in the school setting
• Familiarity with telepractice and the use of technology for virtual therapy sessions (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, parents, and students

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities
• Provide virtual therapy sessions, utilizing telepractice technology, to deliver speech and language services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development
• Monitor progress, document sessions, and maintain accurate records of student performance
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and strategies
