School Speech-Language Pathologist – Teletherapy

A school district in Maryland needs a Speech-Language Pathologist to work full-time providing teletherapy services to their students. The SLP will administer evaluations and provide direct therapy during normal school hours while working from home. The district will have a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or SLPA onsite to assist the students during direct therapy.

Qualifications:

School-based working experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland

Job Details:

Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
