Remote School Psychologist Oregon (K12 School-Based)
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Remote School Psychologist licensed in Oregon to support K12 students through virtual psychological services. This role is fully remote and focuses on conducting evaluations, consulting with educators and families, supporting IEP teams, and helping students access the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The ideal candidate is comfortable using secure telehealth platforms, experienced in school-based assessment and consultation, and passionate about equity and mental health in education.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education eligibility (e.g., cognitive, behavioral, academic, social-emotional functioning).

Interpret assessment data and generate legally defensible written reports.

Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student support team meetings to present findings and collaborate on appropriate interventions.

Provide virtual consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding behavior support plans, MTSS/RTI strategies, and classroom accommodations.

Support the implementation of positive behavior interventions, mental health supports, and evidence-based practices.

Assist in crisis response and remote threat/risk assessment procedures as needed.

Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with IDEA, Oregon Department of Education (ODE) regulations, and district timelines.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education teachers, counselors, speech therapists, and administrators.

Stay current with Oregon school psychology standards and best practices in virtual service delivery.
Requirements
Credentials & Licensing

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program.

Valid and active Oregon TSPC School Psychologist License (or ability to obtain).

Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and Oregon-specific education laws and procedures.
Experience & Skills

Minimum of 1yearof experience as a school psychologist, preferably in K12 public schools.

Strong assessment and report-writing skills across a range of disabilities and developmental levels.

Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital tools for collaboration, assessment, and communication (e.g., Q-Interactive, Zoom, Google Workspace).

Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff in a virtual setting.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages).

Experience supporting rural or underserved school populations.

Familiarity with trauma-informed practices, culturally responsive assessment, or neurodiversity-affirming practices.
