Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Position Texas
Hourly Rate: $45$50/hr | Full-Time and Part-Time | Remote
Winter 2024 to Spring 2025 VocoVision

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist whos passionate about making a difference from the comfort of your own home? VocoVision is seeking a skilled SLP to provide remote speech therapy to students across Texas. This flexible position allows you to work with K-12 students to support their communication development and academic achievementwithout leaving your home!

Position Highlights:

• Hourly Compensation: $45$50 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time roles available
• Remote Opportunity: Conduct therapy and evaluations online
• Student Caseload: Work with diverse age groups, addressing a range of speech and language needs
• Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
• Bilingual Skills: Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Virtual Therapy: Provide remote therapy tailored to each students individual needs.
• Assessments & Evaluation: Perform speech and language evaluations to identify and address areas of concern.
• Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop customized plans that support students' academic and personal goals.
• Behavioral Support: Create and implement strategies to help students overcome speech disorders and communication-related behavioral challenges.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Certifications: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and must either hold or be eligible for Texas state licensure.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a school or pediatric environment.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, parents, and educational teams.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using virtual tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, online therapy software).
• Bilingual: Spanish-speaking skills are a plus!
