Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening in Oregon
Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our remote team and provide virtual speech and language services to K-12 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and positively impact students' lives by delivering top-quality virtual therapy. In this role, youll work with students to address communication challenges, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide customized therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, and develop individualized IEPs.
- Provide therapy, track progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address and support students' communication needs.
- Complete assessments, maintain detailed documentation, and actively participate in team planning meetings.
- Advocate for students' needs, stay updated on the latest best practices, and engage in continuous professional development.
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active SLP certification in Oregon.
- At least 2 years of experience working with students who have communication disorders.
- Experience in providing virtual therapy services is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and computer access required.
