VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with various learning disabilities, ensuring they succeed in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized support to students with diverse disabilities and learning challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and goals.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school professionals to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings to ensure appropriate services and accommodations are in place for each student.
• Guide general education teachers on integrating students with special needs into their classrooms.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Michigans special education regulations.

What You Need:

• Valid Michigan certification in Special Education.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a special education setting (teletherapy experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with students and their teams.
