Virtual Special Education Teacher Supporting Students in Dallas, TX
Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12)

About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Dallas, Texas. As a SPED teacher, you will create individualized instruction to help students with a wide range of disabilities succeed in a virtual learning environment.

What Youll Be Doing:

Deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) based on each students unique needs and goals.
Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other school staff to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies.
Participate in IEP meetings to provide input on the educational and social-emotional needs of students.
Assist in adapting classroom activities and materials to support students with special needs.
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with Texas special education guidelines.

What You Need:

Valid Texas certification in Special Education.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
At least two years of experience working with students in a special education setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
A reliable internet connection and a professional, quiet workspace.
