About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist (DHH) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will support students who are deaf or hard of hearing by offering specialized instruction and accommodations, helping them succeed academically and socially in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring access to all academic content.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that are tailored to meet each students unique needs.

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary.

• Provide consultation and training to general education teachers on effective practices for integrating students with hearing impairments into the classroom.

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications to meet students needs.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Georgias special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist in Georgia.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education with a focus on Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.

• At least two years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (teletherapy experience preferred).

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods for DHH students.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with students, parents, and school teams.

• A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
