Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

VocoVision is partnering with a school district in Tennessee to hire a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support students virtually for the 20252026 school year. This is a district-wide, itinerant position, and we are open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Flexible hours are available for the right fit!

Position Details:

• 100% virtual (1099 contract position)

• Full-time preferred (7.5 hours/day, MondayFriday), part-time options available

• Flexible schedule (typical hours are 8:00 AM 3:00 PM CST)

• Caseload: 1015 students, grades K12

• Responsibilities include direct instruction, consultation, IEP meeting participation, and collaboration with staff and families

Requirements:

• Valid Tennessee TDHH certification

• At least 2 years of school-based experience preferred

• Comfortable with technology and virtual platforms

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Reliable internet connection
