Soliant is currently hiring a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide virtual educational services to students across Michigan. If youre passionate about creating accessible learning environments and thrive in a remote setting, this opportunity could be a great fit.

Job Duties:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing via virtual platforms

• Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure inclusive educational practices

• Adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility

• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews

• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or related field

• Experience with virtual instruction tools and online learning environments

• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance

• Strong communication skills and a student-centered mindset
