Location: Remote Supporting Michigan School Districts
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time

Soliant is currently hiring a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide virtual educational services to students across Michigan. If youre passionate about creating accessible learning environments and thrive in a remote setting, this opportunity could be a great fit.
Job Duties:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing via virtual platforms

Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure inclusive educational practices

Adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility

Attend and participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews

Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery
Qualifications:
-
Valid Michigan certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or related field

Experience with virtual instruction tools and online learning environments

Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance

Strong communication skills and a student-centered mindset
