Qualifications:

Position Overview:
Vocovision is seeking a skilled and compassionate Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, remote position designed to support students in Connecticut with visual impairments. As a Virtual TVI, you will use technology to deliver specialized instruction and provide meaningful educational experiences for students, helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Assess students' visual impairments and provide guidance on assistive technologies and accommodations.
Utilize virtual platforms and tools to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
