Secondary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Missouri

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in secondary school students.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to help students improve their speech and language skills.
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, evaluations, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with secondary school students preferred.
  • Comfortable using teletherapy platforms or eager to learn.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in interacting with adolescents and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Compassion and patience in assisting students with communication challenges.
  • Proficient with technology for virtual therapy sessions.
