Temporary Virtual Speech Pathologist

Position: Virtual Speech Pathologist
Location: Remote (Washington State School District)
Dates: December 2, 2024 – February 14, 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Manage 35 students; provide therapy to 60 students
Site(s): Primarily one elementary school (potential for more)

Note: Must hold a valid Speech Pathology license in both your home state and Washington State.

Job Description:

VocoVision is hiring a Virtual Speech Pathologist for a short-term, remote position to cover a leave of absence. The role involves managing a caseload of 35 students and delivering direct therapy services to approximately 60 elementary-aged students.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and document caseload of 35 students
• Provide direct therapy to around 60 students
• Collaborate on IEPs and conduct virtual assessments
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school staff

Qualifications:

• Washington State ESA certification in Speech Pathology
• Strong professional references and speech therapy experience
• Ability to work independently in a virtual setting
• Experience with elementary-aged children preferred

Compensation:

• $53-$55 per hour (equivalent to $92,000-$95,000 annually for a 10-month period)
