Sign Language Interpreter in Washington (WFH)

We are currently seeking a Sign Language Interpreter with a 4.0 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position will involve providing interpretation services for deaf and hard of hearing students in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, teachers, and other staff members to facilitate effective communication.

Responsibilities will include providing sign language interpretation for a variety of educational activities, ensuring accurate and clear communication between students and staff, and collaborating with teachers to support student learning and development. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all interactions.

Qualifications for this position include a 4.0 EIPA score or equivalent certification, previous experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting, and proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of educational terminology and concepts, as well as a willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.
