Sign Language Interpreter Needed in Maryland (Remote)
VocoVision is working with an esteemed school district in Maryland to fill a Sign Language Interpreter position. This role is completely virtual, allowing the interpreter to work from their home.
Position Details:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Typically 1:1 interpreting for a middle school student (ASL)
- Supportive Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

Requirements:
- Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 (written test must be passed, and documentation is required)
- Relevant certification in sign language interpreting
- Experience working with middle school students, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
