VocoVision is working with an esteemed school district in Mississippi to fill a Sign Language Interpreter position. This role is completely virtual, allowing the interpreter to work from their home.

Position Details:

37.5 hours per week
11/30-1/29, with potential for an end-of-year extension
1:1 interpreting for a middle school student (ASL)
Supportive Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

Requirements:

Minimum EIPA score of 3.0
Relevant certification in sign language interpreting
Experience working with middle school students, preferably in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
