VocoVision is working with an esteemed school district in Washington to fill a Sign Language Interpreter position. This role is completely virtual, allowing the interpreter to work from their home.

Position Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Typically 1:1 interpreting for a middle school student (ASL)
  • Supportive Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

Requirements:

  • Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 (written test must be passed, with documentation required)
  • Relevant certification in sign language interpreting
  • Experience working with middle school students, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
