Job Details
We are looking for a Sign Language Interpreter to take on a full time role with one of our school districts in North Carolina. We are looking for a candidate who has an EIPA Score of 3.5 or higher, and experience working virtually. The role is primarily for individual interpreting. Students may range from K-12, and have different levels of hearing loss. Compensation does vary on districts budget, and candidates experience.
Job Qualifications
Requires a bachelor degree in ASL or related field. We prefer candidates who have at least 2 years of experience working within the school systems. All candidates must have a EIPA score of 3.5 or higher. Some states may require additional licensure or clearances.
VOCO Requirements
We require that all contractors obtain both general and professional liability insurance before starting their assignment. Additionally, all applicants need to be comfortable understanding that this role is strictly 1099, for independent contractors. Before an interview we require that all candidates complete and pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general zoom capabilities.
