Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Virtual SLP, you will provide online speech and language therapy services to clients across Washington. You will work remotely from your home office, using videoconferencing tools to conduct therapy sessions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations of clients' speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
• Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to clients using evidence-based techniques and approaches
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with clients' families and caregivers, as well as other healthcare professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for clients

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
• Current Washington State SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP, with experience providing virtual therapy services
• Knowledge of and experience with a variety of speech and language disorders and communication modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private workspace
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of clients
