Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Positions

Job Summary
VocoVision is excited to collaborate with a school district in the Tomahawk area to recruit skilled remote Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming academic year. We strongly encourage candidates with experience in educational environments to apply, as the district is looking to fill these roles urgently!
Important: Applicants do not need to be Wisconsin residents but must hold valid licenses in both their home state and Wisconsin.
Position Information
- Employment Type: Full-time for all roles (2024-2025 School Year)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Student Caseloads:
- 52 students for the rest of the school year, with a facilitator available to help.
- 45 students during FMLA leave until the end of November.
- 20-25 students from November 4 to December 13 due to FMLA leave.
- Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour, paid weekly, encompassing direct and indirect services
- Contract Status: Independent contractor
- Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance is required upon hiring
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote evaluations and assessments for various speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
- Create individualized intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of students, focusing on communication, language development, articulation, and social skills.
- Work in collaboration with teachers and school staff to effectively implement intervention strategies.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of two years in a school-based setting is mandatory.
- Licensure:
- Must have a valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist License from the DSPS.
- Certifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Clearances: Must have current state clearances, including fingerprints and TB testing if applicable.
