Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available
VocoVision is collaborating with a reputable school district in the Olympia, WA area to find a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role in the 2024-2025 school year. Job Details:
- Role: Full-time for the 2024-2025 School Year
- Pay Rate: $50-$60 per hour, with weekly payments
- Experience: Compensation based on prior virtual experience
- Duties: Involves both direct and indirect services
- Contract Type: Independent contractor
- Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance needed upon offer
- Additional Info: More specifics on scheduling and caseload will be discussed during a Zoom interview with the director/coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language issues.
- Focus mainly on providing supervision and indirect services.
- Work collaboratively online with teachers and school staff to implement effective interventions.
Required Experience:
- At least two years of experience in a school setting is essential.
Certification Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License for Washington State
- Bilingual Spanish skills are advantageous but not essential
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state clearances (including fingerprints, TB testing if necessary, background checks, etc.)
