Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Position

VocoVision is thrilled to partner with a respected school district in the Dover, DE area to recruit a skilled remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role during the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must have relevant experience in educational environments to be eligible for this remote position. Position Overview:

Status: Full-time for the 2024-2025 academic year
Caseload: K-12, focusing on moderate to severe cases
Pay Rate: $53-$55 per hour, with weekly payments
Employment Type: Independent contractor
Insurance: Professional liability coverage required upon hiring

Key Responsibilities:

Perform remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses related to speech, voice, hearing, and language challenges.
Create individualized intervention plans tailored to students’ communication, language, articulation, and social interaction needs in a virtual setting.
Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel remotely to effectively implement intervention strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Experience managing moderate to severe caseloads
Knowledge of Proloquo2go, TouchChat, and Tobii Dynavox AAC tools
A minimum of two years’ experience in a school-based context

Licensing and Certifications:

Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprinting, TB testing as needed, background checks, etc.)
