Overview

VocoVision is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy services to students throughout California. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Position Details

Location: Fully Remote (California)
Contract Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible within school hours, including indirect time

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active California state SLP license and/or teaching certification as an SLP
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an SLP in school settings
Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and familiarity with online platforms (e.g., Zoom)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations via teletherapy
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
Provide engaging and effective online therapy sessions
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Adapt therapeutic strategies to suit the online learning environment
Stay current with California state requirements and best practices in speech-language pathology
