Overview

VocoVision is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy services to students across Minnesota. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population while enjoying the benefits of a flexible work-from-home arrangement.

Position Details

Location: Fully Remote (Minnesota-based)
Employment Type: Full-time, 1099 Contract
Work Schedule: Flexible within school hours, including time for indirect services

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Active Minnesota state SLP license and/or teaching certification as an SLP
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an SLP in educational settings
Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services and familiarity with online platforms like Zoom
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment
Cultural competence to serve Minnesota's diverse student population

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations remotely
Design and implement individualized treatment plans for students with various communication disorders
Deliver engaging and effective teletherapy sessions
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
Adapt therapy techniques and materials for effective online delivery
Stay informed about Minnesota state educational requirements and advancements in speech-language pathology
Provide culturally responsive services to Minnesota's diverse student population, including support for English Language Learners when appropriate
Adhere to all Minnesota Department of Education guidelines and regulations
Contribute to the development and implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
