Overview

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy services to students throughout Missouri. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Position Details

Location: Fully Remote (Missouri-based)
Contract Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible within school hours, including time for indirect services

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Missouri state SLP license and/or teaching certification as an SLP
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an SLP in school settings
Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and familiarity with online platforms (e.g., Zoom)
Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment
Cultural competence to serve Missouri's diverse student population

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations via teletherapy
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs
Conduct engaging and effective online therapy sessions
Foster collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
Actively participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Adapt therapeutic strategies and materials to optimize effectiveness in an online learning environment
Stay informed about Missouri state educational requirements and advancements in speech-language pathology
Provide culturally responsive services to Missouri's diverse student population
Adhere to all Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) guidelines and regulations
Contribute to the implementation of Missouri's State Plan for Special Education
