Job Description:
VocoVision is seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, remote position providing speech therapy services to elementary school students. This role will cover two back-to-back maternity leaves, with a caseload primarily consisting of young students in need of speech-language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary school students via teletherapy.
- Manage caseloads that include students with diverse needs and varying levels of support.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure effective service delivery.
- Work with IEP teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment goals.
- Provide bilingual speech services, with approximately half the caseload requiring bilingual speech in their IEPs.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in New York (required).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in a school-based setting.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate with diverse teams.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with IEP development and implementation.
