Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (Case Management)

VocoVision has partnered with a great California school district that is looking to hire a remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 2024-2025, full-time opening. Job Details:

• Full-time, 2024-2025 School Year
• K-12 Caseload (mostly elementary); 4 speech only
• Hourly rate: $65-$69/hr – paid weekly
  • Covers direct and indirect services
• This open role is an independent contractor position
• Professional liability insurance is required upon offer

Responsibilities:

• 47 re-evals; triannuals, screening students for speech services
• Provide remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
• Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual student’s needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication virtually.
• Collaborate remotely with teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.

Experience:

• Teletherapy and AAC device experience
• Two years of previous experience in a school-based setting is required.

Certification:

• California Speech Language Pathologist License
• In-hand CA teaching/educational credential
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
