Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (Case Management) Role

VocoVision is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely with a respected school district in California for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applicants must have prior experience in educational settings to qualify for this full-time position. Position Details:

Type of Employment: Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year
Student Caseload: K-12, primarily focusing on elementary; 4 students requiring speech-only services
Compensation: $65-$69 per hour, with payments made weekly
Scope of Work: Involves both direct and indirect service delivery
Contract Status: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance is required upon hiring

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct 47 re-evaluations, triannual assessments, and screenings for students needing speech services.
Perform remote evaluations and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language challenges.
Create individualized intervention programs tailored to students' specific communication, language, articulation, and social needs in a virtual environment.
Collaborate with educators and staff to implement effective intervention strategies remotely.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with AAC devices
A minimum of two years of experience in a school-based role is necessary

Certifications Needed:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
California teaching or educational credential
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Current state clearances, including fingerprints, TB tests if required, and background checks
