Position: Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Work from Home (Fully Remote)
Availability: Full-time or Part-time (caseload-dependent)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet unique student needs.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions targeting speech and language disorders in a school setting.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and professionals for effective communication solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes.
- Utilize technology for engaging virtual therapy sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based settings.
- Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and technology.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-sufficient in time management and working independently.
