• Assist in overseeing staff and students, as well as in creating in-service training programs for ongoing staff development.

• Address requests for professional information and advice, referring complex issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Educate and train students and families on relevant aspects of the student's care.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

SLP Requirements

• State SLP (ASHA CCC's) licensure (WI)  

• Teaching Certificated Preferred

• Minimum two years school experience; clinical experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis

• Masters degree in Speech and Communication

• Professional/General Liability Insurance upon offer

• Access to high-speed internet, a computer, and a reliable headset

• Previous experience with teletherapy or a strong interest in learning

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus!  

Job Details:

• Full time 37.5 – 40 hours

• No need to commute; remote work

• Caseload: K-12th - 35 students

• November – December 2024

Compensation/Benefits

• Weekly Pay 

• 1099 contract-based work – might qualify for tax write-offs

• $40-47/hr - negotiable depending on education, licensure, experience, etc.

• Paid for direct/indirect services at the same rate

• Assessments, toolkits etc. available during contract

 
**You will have to pass a tech screen which requires 2 screenshots (internet speed & computer speed) AND a less than 5 minute screen recording of a zoom mockup session testing basic tech proficiency skills
