VocoVision is now working with a school district in California that is accepting teletherapy as the alternative to onsite assistance with the students that need them most, regardless of location! The Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) will be responsible for using adaptive equipment, orientation & mobility instruction, low vision equipment adaptation, knowledge of new braille system, and facilitating IEP meetings. You are the liaison between parents, teachers, ophthalmologist, & their community. Clinical and technical training will be provided prior to starting the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

California License
Teaching Certification in Visual Education
Masters Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
