Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our vibrant network in Washington. In this role, you will deliver crucial teletherapy services, equipping students with vital skills in braille, independent living, and essential academic subjects. Our team is here to support you throughout your journey, ensuring you feel appreciated and empowered in your position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct interactive teletherapy sessions for K-12 students with visual impairments.
• Teach essential subjects, braille proficiency, and life skills.
• Partner with families and educational professionals to design customized learning plans.

Position Details:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Work Schedule: Part-Time
• Student Caseload: K-12

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students.
• Current Washington State Teaching Certification in Visual Education.
• Virtual teaching experience is preferred but not essential.

Requirements:

• Must possess personal liability insurance and be comfortable working as an independent contractor.
• Access to a dependable home computer with high-speed internet connectivity.
• Completion of a basic technology screening is required.
