Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Remote, School-Based)

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary (2 Maternity Leave Coverage) - Independent Contractor
Location: Remote (Serving New York students)
Start Date: Immediate
Caseload: Elementary School Students

Position Overview:

VocoVision is seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is a temporary, full-time role designed to cover two back-to-back maternity leaves, focusing primarily on providing speech therapy to elementary students in need of language support.

Key Duties:

Deliver speech-language therapy services via teletherapy to elementary students.
Manage a diverse caseload with varying levels of needs and support.
Work closely with educators, school staff, and families to ensure effective therapy delivery.
Collaborate with IEP teams to assess, create, and implement individualized goals for students.
Provide bilingual therapy services, with half of the caseload requiring Spanish-language support as outlined in their IEPs.

Required Qualifications:

Fluent in Spanish (required).
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in New York State.
Experience working in a school-based setting with elementary-aged students.
Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and working in a virtual environment.
Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs.
