Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Position Summary:

VocoVision is excited to announce an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely with a school district in the Las Vegas area. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in educational settings. The district is actively seeking to fill this position, so early applications are encouraged!

Please Note: Residency in Nevada is not required, but applicants must hold licenses in both their home state and Nevada.

Key Information:

Job Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: May 21, 2025
Work Schedule: 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: $48 - $53, paid weekly
Contract Status: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Must secure professional liability insurance upon hiring

Core Duties:

Provide remote evaluations and assessments for various speech, voice, hearing, and language challenges.
Design and implement individualized intervention strategies to support communication, articulation, and social skills in a virtual format.
Collaborate with educators and school staff to execute effective intervention programs.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of two years in a school-based role is essential.
Licensure:
- Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Teaching credential from the Nevada Department of Education
Certifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Clearances: Must have current state clearances, including background checks, fingerprinting, and TB testing if needed.
