Overview

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote position with a school district in the Forest Grove area. Ideal candidates will have prior school experience. The district is eager to fill this role, so prompt applications are encouraged!

Note: Applicants do not need to be Oregon residents but must hold valid licenses for both their home state and Oregon.

Position Details

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Caseload Age: Grades K-8
Caseload Size: Less than 70 students, focusing on case management (IEPs, evaluations) and SLPA supervision
Disability Types: Standard, with no specialized programs
Pay: $49-$51 per hour, paid weekly
Employment Status: Independent contractor
Insurance: Professional liability insurance required upon hiring

Responsibilities

Conduct remote evaluations and assessments related to speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
Develop individualized intervention plans for communication, language development, articulation, and social skills.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective interventions.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based environment.
Must possess a valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist License.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
Current state clearances, including fingerprints and TB testing if applicable.
