Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; develop and implement tailored individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide therapy services, track student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication development.
- Perform screenings, maintain thorough documentation, and actively participate in planning team meetings.
- Champion student advocacy, stay current with industry developments, and pursue continuous professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
- Alaska SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
