Teletherapy School Sign Language Interpreter Job

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while serving a vital role in our educational community.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant sign language systems.
• EIPA Score of at least 4.0 + written or RID + written
• Two years of prior experience in educational interpreting or related settings is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote sign language interpreting services for students with hearing impairments during virtual classes, meetings, and school events.
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff to ensure equal access to educational resources and opportunities.
• Utilize video conferencing and other remote communication tools to deliver clear and accurate interpretations in real-time.
• Maintain a professional and supportive environment while promoting a positive learning experience for students.
