Virtual School-Based Social Worker Full Time in Michigan
VocoVision is committed to providing quality and intentional educational support to students in Michigan. We are currently seeking an empathetic and driven School-Based Social Worker to join our network on a full-time basis under an independent contract arrangement. If you are a licensed social worker with a passion for supporting the well-being of students, we encourage you to apply.
As a Virtual School-Based Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential social and emotional support to students in our district. You will work remotely to assist students, families, and educators in addressing a wide range of social and emotional challenges that may impact a student's ability to succeed academically. Your role will be pivotal in promoting a positive school environment and fostering student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to identify students in need of social and emotional support.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students.
Provide counseling and support to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
Offer resources and referrals to external agencies and organizations as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities.
K-12 caseload

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
310 Required
LARA Required
Experience working with IEPs
Strong communication and virtual communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
Knowledge of Michigan’s educational and social service systems is a plus.
