Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (Teletherapy, Rhode Island K-12)

Location: Remote (Rhode Island)

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Position Overview: As a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from K-12. Using a virtual platform, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to create and implement effective therapy plans tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students’ communication abilities and challenges.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student goals.
Provide remote speech therapy services for students, including individual and small group sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the student’s speech and language needs are being met in the classroom and at home.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure ongoing success in students.
Maintain records of therapy sessions and IEP progress.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active Rhode Island state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Previous experience delivering teletherapy is a plus.
Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation.
