Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (Case Management) Opening

VocoVision is delighted to announce an opportunity to join a respected California school district as a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position during the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates must have prior experience in school environments to be considered for this role. Position Highlights:

Employment Status: Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year
Caseload: K-12, mostly elementary, with 4 students requiring speech-only services
Hourly Wage: $65-$69, paid weekly
Service Type: Encompasses both direct and indirect therapy services
Contract Type: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be obtained upon offer

Key Responsibilities:

Perform 47 re-evaluations, triannual assessments, and screenings for students in need of speech services.
Execute remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for various speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
Design individualized intervention plans to cater to each student's communication, language development, articulation, and social interaction needs in a virtual setting.
Collaborate remotely with teachers and school personnel to effectively implement intervention strategies.

Required Experience:

Proficiency in teletherapy and knowledge of AAC devices
At least two years of relevant experience in a school-based environment

Certification Requirements:

California Speech-Language Pathologist License
Valid California teaching or educational credential
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Current state clearances, including fingerprinting, TB testing if applicable, and background checks
