Academic Year: 2024-2025

Position Overview

VocoVision is on the hunt for a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services for a school district in the Forest Grove region. Candidates with previous experience in educational settings are highly encouraged to apply as the district is looking to fill this position quickly!

Important: You don’t need to live in Oregon, but you must have valid licenses for both your home state and Oregon.

Job Specifications

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Caseload Size: Fewer than 70 students, primarily focused on case management (IEPs and evaluations) and supervision of SLPA
Disability Types: Typical caseload with no specialized programs
Compensation: $49-$51 per hour, paid weekly
Contract Type: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be obtained upon hire

Key Responsibilities

Perform remote assessments and evaluations for speech, language, hearing, and voice disorders.
Create personalized intervention strategies addressing communication, language development, articulation, and social communication.
Work collaboratively with educators and school personnel to ensure effective implementation of interventions.

Required Qualifications

At least two years of experience in a school-based role is necessary.
A valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist License is required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is essential.
Must possess up-to-date state clearances, including background checks and TB testing if required.
