Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available

VocoVision is excited to partner with a school district located in the Las Vegas, NV area, which is actively seeking a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role during the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must have prior school experience to be eligible for this position. The district is looking to hire quickly, so apply now for immediate consideration!

Important Note: You are not required to reside in Nevada; however, you must hold a valid license in both your home state and Nevada.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Full-time for the 2024-2025 academic year
• Start Date: ASAP – End Date: 05/21/25
• Schedule: 7 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday
• Pay Rate: $48-$53 per hour, with weekly payments
• Role Type: Independent contractor
• Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be obtained upon offer acceptance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform remote evaluations and assessments for speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
• Create customized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs in areas such as communication, language development, articulation, and social skills, delivered virtually.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement effective intervention strategies.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in a school setting is mandatory.
• Licensure and Certifications:
  • Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Teaching credential issued by the Nevada Department of Education
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state clearances (including fingerprinting, TB testing if applicable, and background checks)
