Teletherapy Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing position available for the 24/25 School Year

Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - North Carolina

VocoVision is looking for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing that is available for full or part time for 24/25 school year. 

Job Type:

• Full-time and part-time available 
• Collaborate closely with on-site DHH team and audiologist
• Caseload specifics to be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina teaching certification with a specific endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Master's Degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of recent classroom experience preferred
• Previous experience with remote teaching preferred; comfortable delivering extensive tele-education services

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with other general education, special education, and DHH teachers to provide recommendations, observations, and act as a valuable resource
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide timely feedback to support student learning and development
