VocoVision is seeking qualified Teachers of the Visually Impaired to work remotely with students across the United States. As a remote TVI, you will utilize cutting-edge technology to deliver lessons and support services to visually impaired students. This independent contractor role allows for a flexible schedule and the ability to make a difference in the lives of students.

Job Details:

• Type: Independent 1099 Contractor
• Caseload: Preschool through High School
• Full-Time

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Visual Impairments Education or a related area
• Certification in Visual Impairments Education
• Experience working with students with visual impairments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote lessons, assessments, and instructional support
• Develop individualized learning plans and accommodations
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure students' success

Technical Requirements:

• Must carry liability and general insurance
• Must have a reliable home computer and internet connection
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor
• Successful completion of a basic tech screening
