Empower students with visual impairments while working remotely! VocoVision is seeking Teachers of the Visually Impaired to join its telepractice team. This independent contractor role allows you to work from home while providing vital educational services using state-of-the-art technology.

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
• Caseload: PreK-12 students
• Hours: Full-Time availability required

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Visual Impairments Education or similar
• State certification to teach visually impaired students
• At least one year of experience working with this student population
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in a second language is a plus

Duties:

• Deliver online lessons tailored to visually impaired students' needs
• Develop and implement IEPs and accommodations
• Partner with families, teachers, and support staff for student success

Technical Qualifications:

• Liability insurance required
• Tech-ready with reliable computer and internet access
• Comfortable working independently as a contractor
