Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - North Carolina

Job Type:

  • Full-time position, 35 hours per week
  • Consideration for Extended School Year (ESY) or summer work available upon candidate interest
  • Collaborate closely with on-site DHH team and audiologist
  • Caseload specifics to be discussed during the interview process


  • Valid North Carolina teaching certification with a specific endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Master's Degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent classroom experience preferred
  • Previous experience with remote teaching preferred; comfortable delivering extensive tele-education services


  • Work directly with other general education, special education, and DHH teachers to provide recommendations, observations, and act as a valuable resource
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide timely feedback to support student learning and development
