Virtual ESOL Teacher - Ohio

Location: Fully Remote (Ohio-based)

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote ESOL Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will provide virtual interventions for an English language learner, collaborate with general education teams, and focus on ELL standards to prepare student for the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA).

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual English language learner interventions tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers to make content accessible for ELL students.
Focus on ELL standards to ensure students are well-prepared for the OELPA.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as necessary to support language acquisition.
Communicate regularly with students and families to provide updates and support.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio General Education or Special Education License with an ESOL endorsement.
Must be bilingual in Tagalog (Filipino)
Experience working with English language learners in an educational setting.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and technology.
Passion for supporting ELL students and enhancing their educational experience.
