Job Title: Virtual Kentucky Teacher of The Deaf or Hard of Hearing K-12 Part-Time 

Job Description: We are working with a school district in Kentucky that is looking for a Deaf & Hard of Hearing teacher to join their network and work remotely for the rest of the school year. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about empowering students and fostering their academic success.

Responsibilities:
 • Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, both individually and in small groups.
 • Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students with hearing loss.
• Utilize virtual platforms effectively for delivering instruction, incorporating appropriate visual and auditory supports.

Position Details:
 • Part-time position.
• Caseload: K-12 students with hearing impairments.
 • Full capability of working from home
• Weekly Pay

Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
 • Valid Kentucky state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Experience working with students with hearing impairments and implementing individualized educational plans.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology for delivering remote instruction.
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities used by students with hearing loss.
