Job Responsibilities
As a Virtual TVI in Virginia, you will:
- Provide virtual instruction tailored to the needs of visually impaired students.
- Adapt lesson plans and educational materials using assistive technology to meet individual learning goals.
- Collaborate closely with other educators, families, and school staff to ensure student success.
- Conduct virtual assessments, monitor progress, and maintain accurate student records.
Qualifications
To be eligible, you must have:
- An active Virginia teaching certification in Visual Impairments (TVI).
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching visually impaired students, with a preference for virtual education experience.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and tech-savvy skills.
